‏تشهد الكرة الأرضية والعالم الإثنين المقبل، كسوف كلي للشمس هو الأخير لعام 2020، وسيكون مشاهد في جميع أجزاء من جنوب دولة تشيلي والأرجنتين في حين سوف يشاهد جزئيًا في معظم جنوب قارة أمريكا الجنوبية وجنوب شرق المحيط الهادئ وجنوب المحيط الأطلسي ولن يكون مشاهدًا في سماء الوطن العربي والشرق الأوسط.

‏وقال المهندس ماجد أبو زاهرة، رئيس الجمعية الفلكية في مدينة جدة، إن كسوف الشمس في مجملة سيكون ما بين الساعة 04:33 مساءً والساعة 9:53 مساءً مع توقيت المملكة العربية السعودية، وسوف تكون مدة الكسوف في شكلة الكلي مدة ثلاث ساعات وثلث الساعة، من شروق الشمس فوق المحيط الهادي إلى غروبها فوق المحيط الأطلسي بالقرب من سواحل قارة أفريقيا.

‏وأشار المهندس أبو زاهرة، إلى أن كسوف الشمس سوف يبدأ من شرق جزر ماركيساس جنوب المحيط الهادئ، وسوف يمر شمال جزيرة الفصح وجنوب أرخبيل وجزر خوان فرنانديز قبالة سواحل دولة تشيلي قبل أن يصل إلى قارة أمريكا الجنوبية.

‏وسوف يشاهد الكسوف في شكلة الجزئي بنسب متفاوتة في المناطق التي ستقع ضمن شبة ظل القمر وتشمل هذه المنطقة جزر بيتكيرن في المحيط الهادي بنسبة (58%) ، وجزر بولينيزيا الفرنسية جنوب المحيط الهادي بنسبة ( 63%) ، البرازيل نسبة (67%) ، والأورغواي بنسبة (73%) ، وجزر فوكلاند جنوب المحيط الاطلسي بنسبة (66%) ، وجزر في جورجيا الجنوبية.

‏وجزر ساندويتش الجنوبية جنوب المحيط الاطلسي بنسبة (54%) ، جزيرة سانت هلينا في المحيط الاطلسي بنسبة (89%)، وجنوب إفريقيا بنسبة ( 73%) ، وناميبيا نسبة (78%) ، وأنغولا نسبة ( 46%) وسوف ينتهي الكسوف الجزئي عند الساعة 9:53 مساء بتوقيت المملكة العربية السعودية وهو توقيت لندن (06:53 مساءً بتوقيت غرينتش) وبهذا تنتهي كامل مراحل الكسوف الكلي للشمس.

‏الجدير بالذكر أن دولة تشيلي ودولة الأرجنتين تشهدان هذا الكسوف الكلي للشمس بعد 531 يوم فقط من كسوف كلي للشمس سابق ، ولكن هذه المرة ستؤدي جائحة مرض فيروس كورونا العالمية المستمرة كوفيد19 الى تعقيد مشاهدة الحدث من قبل المهتمين في مجال الكسوف أو الخسوف حيث تم إلغاء آلاف الخطط للسفر إلى قارة أمريكا الجنوبية وأيضا إلى جانب قيود السفر من قبل شركات الطيران العالمية.

The partial eclipse will be seen in varying proportions in the regions that will fall within the shadow of the moon, and this region includes the Pitcairn Islands in the Pacific Ocean (58%), the French Polynesia Islands in the South Pacific Ocean (63%), Brazil (67%), And Uruguay (73%), the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic Ocean (66%), and islands in South Georgia.

And the South Sandwich Islands, south of the Atlantic Ocean (54%), Saint Helena Island in the Atlantic by (89%), South Africa (73%), Namibia (78%), and Angola (46%). The partial eclipse will end. At 9:53 pm Saudi Arabia time, which is London time (06:53 pm GMT), thus ending the entire stages of the total solar eclipse.
