قالت هيئة السكك الحديدية المصرية، إن 32 شخصًا على الأقل قتلوا وأصيب أكثر من 100 شخص في حادث قطار جنوب مصر سوهاج

حيث تجمع الناس في موقع حادث اصطدام قطارين إلى مشاهدة الحادث في سوهاج، ونتج عنه مقتل 32 شخصًا على الأقل وإصابة 108 بجروح، في مدينة محافظة سوهاج.

القطار الأول قطار الفقراء كانت في الأمام والقطار الثاني قطار الأغنياء وكانت خلف قطار الفقراء توقف القطار الأول ثم أتت من الخلف القطار الثاني وكانت مسرعة ووقع الحادث, وخرجت عربتان عن القضبان وانقلبتا عندما اصطدم قطار الأغنياء من خلف قطار الفقراء.

وقالت الهيئة العامة للسكك الحديدية في مصر إن “أفراد مجهولين” قاموا بتشغيل مكابح الطوارئ في القطار الفقراء الذي أمامه، مما تسبب في اصطدام القطار الثاني الذي كان في الخلف.

التحقيق في الحادث

قال الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي إنه ستكون هناك عواقب وخيمة لأي شخص تثبت مسؤوليته, حيث غرد على موقع التواصل الإجتماعي تويتر “كل من تسبب في هذا الحادث المؤلم عن طريق الإهمال أو الفساد أو ما شابه ذلك يجب أن ينال عقوبة رادعة دون استثناء أو تأخير”.

وقالت وزارة الصحة المصرية، في بيان لها، إنه بالإضافة إلى الوفيات، أصيب ما لا يقل عن 108 شخص. وقال شخص في موقع الحادث إلى لوكالة رويترز للأنباء “نحتاج إلى مسؤول ليأتي ليرى ما حدث. لا يمكنهم إخراج الأشخاص من تحت القطارات” مضيفا أن هناك حاجة لرافعة للمساعدة في جهود الإنقاذ.

وقعت إحدى أعنف حوادث القطارات في عام 2002 عندما لقي 373 شخصًا مقتلهم عندما إندلع حريق في عربة مسافرة جنوب القاهرة مصر.
