أعلن قصر باكنغهام وفاة الأمير فيليب زوج الملكة إليزابيث الثانية صباح الجمعة أمس في قلعة وندسور عن عمر يناهز 99 عاما, وزوج ملكة بريطانيا إليزابيث الثانية.
رحلة الأمير فيليب من جزيرة كورفو اليونانية إلى قصر باكنغهام مرت بالعديد من المنعطفات والأحداث الدرامية التي لعب القدر دوراً كبيراً فيها.
حياة الأمير فيليب
كان الأمير فيليب متزوجاً من الملكة إليزابيث الثانية طوال 73 عاماً وهو زواج أثمر عنه ولادة ابنة وثلاثة أبناء (آن، تشارلز، أندرو، أدوارد).
ولد الأمير فيليب في جزيرة كورفو اليونانية في 10 يونيو (حزيران) عام 1921 من شجرة عائلته أفراداً من الأسر الملكية دول الدنمارك وألمانيا وروسيا وبريطانيا.
التخلي عن الألقاب
تخلى الأمير فيليب عن ألقابه الملكية اليونانية والدنماركية عام 1947 واكتسب لقب ماونتباتن وأصبح من الرعايا البريطانيين قبل زواجه من إليزابيث.
تم الإعلان رسمياً عن خطبته من الأميرة إليزابيث في يوليو (تموز) 1947 وتزوجا في 20 نوفمبر (تشرين الثاني) من العام نفسه حيث اعتُبر الزفاف أول مناسبة رسمية كبيرة بعد نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية.
كان الأمير فيليب عاشقاً للعبة البولو، وكان واحداً من أبرز اللاعبين في بريطانيا واشتهر الدوق في كونه لاعب كريكيت ماهراً.
وفي عمر 95 أعلن اعتزاله الحياة العامة بعد مشاركته في أكثر من 22 ألف مناسبة رسمية منذ اعتلاء زوجته العرش في 1952، وقد دعمته الملكة في قراره.
دخوله المستشفى
دخل الأمير فيليب مستشفى الملك إدوارد السابع في لندن يوم 16 فبراير للعلاج من عدوى، ثم انتقل إلى مستشفى جديد في لندن، “سانت بارثولوميو هوسبيتال”، حيث أجرى فحوصات وتم وضعه تحت الملاحظة بسبب مرض في القلب، موجود من قبل، قبل أن يغادره في 16 مارس الماضي.
في يوم 16 مارس، غادر الأمير فيليب (99 عاما) المستشفى اللندني الذي كان يمكث فيه، بعدما أمضى شهراً متنقلاً بينه وبين مستشفى آخر، بسبب التهاب في البداية ثم لإجراء عملية في القلب.
أُدخِل الأمير فيليب، مستشفى الملك إدوارد السابع في 16 فبراير وعولج من التهاب وعاد إليه لتمضية فترة نقاهة بعدما أجريت له عملية جراحية لمعالجة مشكلة موجودة أصلاً في القلب في مستشفى القديس برثولماوس في وسط لندن.
إعتزال الحياة العامة
اعتزل الأمير فيليب الحياة العامة في شهر أغسطس من عام 2017 بعد مشاركته في أكثر من 22 ألف مناسبة رسمية منذ اعتلاء زوجته العرش في 1952, ويواصل مرافقة الملكة في بعض الإطلالات العلنية.
في يونيو عام 2017، أدخل الأمير فيليب المستشفى حيث أمضى ليلتين إثر “التهاب متصل بمرض تم تشخيصه سابقا”. وخضع لعملية جراحية في الورك سنة 2018.
وفي يناير عام 2019، تعرض لحادث سيارة بعدما اصطدمت مركبته من نوع “لاند روفر” بسيارة أخرى لدى الخروج من ساندرينغهام ما أدى إلى انقلاب سيارته. وقد نجا من الحادثة لكنه تخلى على إثرها عن رخصة القيادة.
وفي نهاية شهر ديسمبر من العام نفسه، أدخل مستشفى إدوارد السابع حيث أمضى أربع ليال “تحت المراقبة بسبب مشكلات صحية جرى تشخيصها سابقا”، بحسب الدوائر الملكية البريطانية.
مواقف ومراحل
منذ الصغر كان الأمير فيليب يهتم بالعلم والتطوير التقني، وكان دائم التردد على المصانع والمعامل في بريطانيا حتى يكتشف بنفسه ما وصل إليه التطور العلمي والتقني.
الأمير فيليب دور كبير في حياة الملكة إليزابيث الثانية خلال أكثر من سبعة عقود, وكان لها سند للملكة ومصدر قوة لها في مختلف المواقف والمراحل.
كان يريد الالتحاق إلى القوات الجوية الملكية لكن عمه أقنعه بالسير على خطى أسلافه والانضمام إلى البحرية الملكية وهي الخطوة التي وفرت له فرصة لفت انتباه الأميرة إليزابيث لتنشأ علاقة بينهما ويتزوجا لاحقا.
الأمير من هواة الصيد لكنه كان أيضاً من المتحمسين للحفاظ على تنوع البيئة والحياة البرية وترأس “الصندوق العالمي للحياة البرية” مدة عشرين عام.
