لم يعد بمقدور مستخدمي برنامج “فيسبوك” الاعتماد على أصدقائهم أو الحسابات البديلة لاستعادة الرقم السري إذا تم نسيانه، فقد قررت شركة “ميتا” المالكة لمنصة فيسبوك الاعتماد على البريد الإلكتروني ورقم الهاتف فقط.
توثيق الحسابات
وإذا ألقينا نظرة سريعة إلى توثيق الحسابات وتحقيق مستوى عالٍ من الأمان لدى المستخدم، فقد نلاحظ منصات التواصل الاجتماعية بمختلف أنواعها تحاول ابتكار طرق يسيرة لتساعد المستخدمين في تأمين حساباتهم.
ومنها منصة “فيسبوك”، إذ كان بإمكانك في وقت سابق الاستعانة ببريد صديقك لاستعادة رمزك السري، لكن هذا لم يعُد متاحاً لاعتبارات كثيرة تراها شركة ميتا.
لماذا البريد الإلكتروني؟
بالعودة إلى منصات التواصل وطرق توثيق حسابات المستخدمين، يرى كثير من التقنيين أن هناك من لا يستخدمون بريداً إلكترونياً، لأنهم لا يثقون بمنصات التواصل بشكل كبير.
لذلك هم لا يضعون معلومات صحيحة لهم، ما يتسبب في كثرة نسيان الرقم السري، الأمر الذي تعانيه منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، لذلك جاء ابتكار طريقة مختلفة عبارة عن التوثيق من خلال المستخدمين والأصدقاء.
هذه الميزة كانت مفيدة في السابق، إذ إن مبدأها يعتمد على أن تضع لك 4 أو 5 حسابات موثوقة، وفي حال نسيان الرقم السري، فإن بإمكانك الاعتماد على أصدقائك في استعادته، فتصل إليهم رسالة تستطيع من خلالها استعادة الرقم والدخول على حسابك مرة أخرى.
لماذا رقم الجوال؟
ولكن مع تطور المنصات واعتماد المستخدمين على مميزات أخرى مثل البريد الإلكتروني ورقم الهاتف، أصبحت الطرق القديمة مثل التوثيق من خلال الأصدقاء لا فائدة منها بشكل كبير، لذا جاء قرار “فيسبوك” بإلغاء التوثيق من خلال الأصدقاء.
والاعتماد على البريد الإلكتروني ورقم الهاتف، الأمر الذي يدعوك اليوم للمسارعة إلى وضع بريد إلكتروني رسمي ورقم هاتف صحيح، حتى تتمكن من استعادة حسابك في حال فقدان رقمك السري، أو إذا تعرض لأي خلل تقني.
وإن كنت خائفاً من كشف بريدك الإلكتروني الرسمي أو رقم هاتفك للشركات، فإن ثمة طرقاً بديلة يمكنك الاستعانة بها، وهي أن غالبية الشركات حالياً تقدم خدمات مثل البريد الإلكتروني المؤقت أو المخصص للمنصات.
البريد الإلكتروني المؤقت
وعلى سبيل المثال، فإن شركة “أبل” تقدم حالياً خدمة لمستخدميها تمكّنهم من إخفاء البريد الإلكتروني عبر عمل بريد خاص مرتبط بحسابك، وأية رسالة تصل إليه تحول بطريقة سريعة إلى بريدك الرسمي.
ومع المحافظة على هويتك وإخفاء بريدك الرسمي عن المنصات الاجتماعية، لكن من الضروري لعموم المستخدمين وضع بريد إلكتروني يمكن الوصول إليه في منصاتهم الاجتماعية لتفادي خسارة أو فقدان حساباتهم.
إلغاء خاصية التعرف على الوجه
في وقت سابق، ألغت شركة ميتا فيسبوك نظام التعرف على الوجه، الذي يحدد تلقائياً هوية المستخدمين في الصور ومقاطع الفيديو، الأمر الذي أرجعته إلى مخاوف اجتماعية متنامية في شأن استعمال مثل هذه التكنولوجيا.
وحول هذا الموضوع، كتب جيرومي بيسينتي، نائب رئيس وحدة الذكاء الاصطناعي في “فيسبوك”، “لا تزال الجهات التنظيمية تبحث تقديم مجموعة واضحة من اللوائح التي تحكم استخدامه وسط حالة عدم اليقين المستمرة، نعتقد أن من المناسب قصر استعمال نظام التعرف على الوجه على حالات محدودة”.
إنتهاك الخصوصية
يقول المنتقدون إن تكنولوجيا التعرف على الوجه والإشاعة بين تجار التجزئة والمستشفيات وشركات أخرى قد تمثل انتهاكاً للخصوصية.
وقد تجعل المراقبة المتطفلة أمراً طبيعياً, وفي الوقت الذي تواجه “فيسبوك” تدقيقاً شديداً من المنظمين والمشرعين في شأن سلامة المستخدمين ومجموعة واسعة من الانتهاكات على المنصة.
وقالت الشركة إن أكثر من ثلث مستخدمي “فيسبوك” بشكل يومي اختاروا إعدادات التعرف على الوجه على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وسوف يؤدي التغيير الآن إلى حذف “نماذج التعرف على الوجه” لأكثر من مليار شخص حول العالم.
