تمكن فريق ميسي مع منتخب الأرجنتين من تحقيق كوبا أمريكا بعد صبر طويل مع الحلم الذي صبر عليه ميسي كثيرا وحقق ما كان يحلم به وفاز باللقب القاري كوبا أمريكا مع منتخب بلاده.
نعم صحيح ميسي لم يحقق هدف الفوز ولكن الذي حمل التوقيع هو دي ماريا، حيث فرض نفسه نجماً للبطولة القارية بأربعة أهداف وخمس تمريرات حاسمة مع مسيرة منتخب الأرجنتين.
حلم ميسي تحقق
أصبح حلم ليونيل ميسي واقع حقيقي وتم فك نحسه مع منتخب الأرجنتين وقاده إلى التتويج لقب بطولة كوبا أمريكا لكرة القدم على حساب البرازيل المضيفة 1- صفر يوم أمس السبت (10 من يوليو/ تموز 2021)، على ملعب ماراكانا في العاصمة ريو دي جانيرو، ليحصد أفضل لاعب في العالم ست مرات مع أول ألقابه الكبرى في القارة.
حيث خاض ميسي رابع نهائي في كوبا أمريكا، بعد أن خسر في عام 2007 أمام البرازيل بثلاثية وعام 2015 وعام 2016 ضد تشيلي مرتين بركلات الترجيح, وكما خسر منتخب الأرجنتين في نهائي مونديال 2014 والتي اقيمت في البرازيل أمام ألمانيا صفر-1 بعد التمديد الأشواط الإضافية.
وعند هذه النقطة الحاسمة وبسبب هدف دي ماريا منتصف الشوط الأول، أحرزت الأرجنتين لقبها الأول في البطولة القارية في أمريكا الجنوبية منذ آخر بطولة عام 1993.

وبهذا الفوز لمنتخب الأرجنتين عادلت الرقم القياسي في عدد الألقاب القارية، بقيمة 15 لقب بالتساوي مع منتخب الأوروغواي، وفي المقابل توقف رصيد البرازيل عند تسعة ألقاب ومنيت بخسارتها الأولى على أرضها في أكثر من 2500 يوم بدون هزيمة.
وهذه أول مرة من أصل تسع بطولات قارية، تعجز منتخب البرازيل وهي مضيفة للبطولة من إحراز اللقب, وصحيح أن منتخب البرازيل سقط في ملعبها ماراكانا، إلا أن هذه الهزيمة لا تزال أقل مرارة من خيبة ماراكاناسو في المباراة الحاسمة في مونديال عام 1950 أمام الأوروغواي (1-2).
