تم عرض يوم الخميس الماضي الحلقة الأخيرة من برنامج (كيبينج أب ويذ ذا كارداشيانز) أو (مواكبة آل كارداشيان) بعد 14 عاماً على بدء الحلقات التي سجلت الأحداث وعالم الموضة والعلاقات داخل العائلة وتم الإستقبال بالحزن والدموع والإمتنان.
بعد سلسلة ومسيرة من تسجيل الحلقات والأحداث في عالم الموضة والعلاقات داخل العائلة والتي كانت السبب في شهرة كيم كارداشيان وأخواتها.

وعبرت عن الحلقة الأخيرة بقولها: «لست نادمة, كانت هذه أجمل عشر سنوات ونصف في حياتي، أشعر أنني أكثر فتاة محظوظة في العالم كله، فقد أتيحت لي فرصة العمل مع عائلتي يومياً أصبحنا على ما نحن عليه الآن بفضل هذا العرض ولن أستهين بهذا أبداً».
وأستدل الستار على نهاية الحلقات مع معانقة الطاقم التلفزيوني الذي تتبع حياة الأسرة الثرية, لكن العائلة الكبيرة التي تعيش في ولاية كاليفورنيا لا تعتزم الابتعاد عن الأضواء، إذ سوف تعود في حلقة من جزءين يومي 17 و20 يونيو، كما اتفقت على مسلسل جديد على منصة هولو للبث من المتوقع إطلاقه هذا العام.

وقام البرنامج على مدى سنوات بمجريات الحياة الشخصية والمهنية إلى عائلة كيم كارداشيان بما في ذلك زواج كيم نفسها من مغني الراب كانييه وست وانفصال أختها كلوي عن لاعب كرة السلة لامار أودوم.

والمفارقة الغريبة لم يظهر وست ولا كيتلين جينر في الحلقة الأخيرة من البرنامج التي جرى تصويرها خلال فصل الشتاء أي قبل أن تطلب كيم كارداشيان الطلاق من وست وقبل أن تعلن جينر ترشحها في الانتخابات على منصب حاكم ولاية كاليفورنيا.
وإذا رجعنا إلى تاريخ برنامج الواقع نجد أن أولى الحلقات من البرنامج عرضت عبر شبكة إي التابعة إلى شركة إن.بي.سي يونيفرسال عام 2007 وكان البرنامج يُبث من خلال 90 دولة حول العالم وعبر عشرين لغة.
ولكن في الحقيقة تراجع عدد مشاهدي الحلقات في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية العام الماضي إلى أقل من مليون مشاهدة بعدما بلغ عددهم حوالي أربع ملايين في ذروة تألق برنامج الواقع.
